help!

hi i am 35 years of age and a couple of years ago i had 2 late misscarriages after a lot of heartache and waiting i found i had a prolapse and my cervix wasnt closing properly. i havent been given too much information on it. all i was told was that if i would like to get pregnant again i could have a stich at 14 weeks. i had a misscariage over christmas, i was 9 weeks. i have decided not to try again although i would love more children. i started taken oil of evening primrose last week, and i am half way through my cycle, i have started to bleed and it is very painful in my lower back. would the primrose oil have caused me to bleed half way through my cycle or could there be another cause? i dont really like going to the doctors as i dont like being poked and prodded.
